Análise de Acidentes de Trabalho no Setor de Aviação Comercial: Estudo de Caso

The commercial aviation sector is highly complex, where the safety of employees plays a critical role in preventing work-related accidents. This case study aims to analyze occupational safety in an airline, using real data from a data survey carried out between January and July 2024. Key indicators include the number of accidents, days off due to accidents, accident-free days, average employee age, cargo weight handled, and man-hours worked (HHTs). The research also explores the distribution of accidents by type, body part affected, and operational base, providing a detailed view of the main occupational risks. The results highlight the need to strengthen safety policies and accident prevention measures related to cargo handling and other operational aspects.

The Role of Leadership in Employee Motivation: Leadership Styles and Their Impact on Performance

This article aimed to analyze how leadership styles influence employee motivation and performance in the organizational environment. The qualitative and exploratory research was carried out through a bibliographic review of scientific articles that address the topic of leadership and motivation in the organizational context, using four base articles for the analysis. The results indicate that more participative leadership styles, such as democratic, transformational, and situational, encourage greater employee engagement and satisfaction, while more rigid or permissive styles, such as autocratic and laissez-faire, present limitations. It is concluded that effective leadership is directly related to the leader’s ability to adapt their style to the team’s profile and the organizational context, promoting a healthy and productive work environment.

VULNERABILITY ANALYSIS OF THE INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY INFRASTRUCTURE OF A COMPANY IN THE CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS SECTOR

The present article analyzes the existing vulnerabilities in a company in the construction materials sector with the aim of generating Information Security recommendations for the analyzed information technology infrastructure. The research utilized a single case study methodology, where analyses were based on data collected through interviews with employees to identify vulnerabilities. After the analysis, several areas needing improvement were identified, and ten recommendations were made involving the physical and logical network infrastructure, ransomware prevention, and information security. The academic contribution includes highlighting the types of vulnerabilities that can be identified in small businesses, particularly local companies. The practical contribution is to inform companies and key stakeholders about the relevance of information security and the need to address vulnerabilities.

Quality Management and the Interface with Industry 4.0: Proposal of a conceptual map for organizations.

With the constant evolutions and revolutions of technologies arising from the global industrial scenario, adapting to these methodologies has become extremely relevant, as well as incorporating these processes into existing management tools. Concerned with this management, the authors, through this study, address one of the aspects of adapting quality management to the new reality, on the use and importance of quality in industry 4.0. The objective of the work is to address improvements in Quality Management with the implementation of more current technologies applying the elements that make up industry 4.0 and through exploratory research. Therefore, a generic model is presented for use in companies using elements of quality management combined with aspects of industry 4.0.

The IT Management Challenges in the Work Scale Regime

The 6x1 work schedule has been much discussed in recent years, especially after the pandemic and the Home Office work schemes implemented in several companies, which have sought to adapt to the needs and have ended up making this a benefit for employees, due to the high level of positive return for them, especially for IT employees. The aim of this study is to present the challenges of IT management within this working environment and its effects on the lives and routines of workers, and to put forward a management proposal. A single case study methodology was used, with interviews and questionnaires. The results showed that this work schedule needs improvements in its management, which in addition to thinking about the employee's rest, should also bring greater benefits, changing the vision and expectations regarding the work and schedule exposed. The main contribution to the theory is the analysis within the IT sector of the practices applied in the 6x1 roster and its nuances, especially as it is a sector involved in constant change and improvement in companies, which has been bringing better benefits in the search for team engagement and retention, and for practice is the definition of a management proposal that involves job satisfaction transforming it into dedication, bringing mutual benefits for the company and the employee.
